Department of Arkansas Heritage Screensaver

Download Instructions
Internet Explorer: If you are using Internet Explorer, we suggest that you choose to "Run this file from its current location." This will allow the file to automatically install as it downloads. Once it completes the download, you will be prompted to install it. Just click the okay button and you're done! The screensaver will automatically run when your PC is idle.

Netscape: If you are using Netscape, we suggest that you save the file to your desktop. Quick tip for those who need help saving to the desktop: click on the folder up button until "Desktop" appears in the "Save To" window, then click OK.

After the download is complete, look for the screensaver icon on your desktop. It will be named "install.exe". You will need to double click this file to complete the installation of the screensaver. After double-clicking the file, you should be prompted with a successful installation window.

With the screensaver successfully installed, it's now time to turn it on.

PC Users:
To activate your screensaver, close all you windows and right-click on your desktop. Choose "Properties" and select the "Screen Saver" tab. From the drop-down menu, select "Dept of Ark Heritage" then click "Apply" and "Ok" to close out of the window.

After you know your sreensaver is running smoothly, you can safely delete the "install.exe" you downloaded.

Mac Users:
After the download is complete and unstuffed you should have an icon called "install.hqx". Move this file to your Control Panels folder and restart your computer.
